Bergslagen Rafting is a company that focuses on whitewater rafting with rubber rafts for 6-7 persons. Guides accompany all tours.

Our location in the Bergslagen forests only 45 min from Örebro, 1 hour from Västerås and Eskilstuna, and 2 hours from Stockholm makes us Sweden’s “closest” rafting. The train from Stockholm to Köping takes 1 h 20 min. In Köping we will pick you up with a small bus. We base our activities on the beauty of the nature along the Sverkesta river. The river stretch is the sole longer stretch with no hydropower dams in central Sweden. The rapids are in categories 1-3, at high water levels one of them is a class 4 rapid – difficult. The total fall between start and end point is 25 metres.

Rafting is an unforgettable, exhilarating nature experience, regardless of weather. With wet suite just as fun in the first spring sun of april, as in the summer warmth or when the rapids are surrounded by autumn colours. In the rapid you do not notice if it is sun or rain. In spite of this, we offer cancellation of bookings with full refund if the weather forecast is full day rain, provided that the cancellation is done at least three days in advance.
